Hey gals,
Sounds like Thursday, November 6 works best for most of us. Any objections?
How about suggestions on where? I'm up for anything.
Did everyone finish the book? I hate to admit I'm not done yet! I read another Phillipa Gregory novel last week. I'm hooked.
Looking forward to The Cellist of Sarajevo! I'll try to get some interesting links up on the side bar soon!
We love good books, good wine, good food, and most of all good friends!

Longest Month in the History of Months
Hey Y'all.
Is it just me or does October cease to end?
How's the reading going? What are you reading instead of Wild Ride? I am reading The Boleyn Inheritance and am thoroughly entertained. I was convinced by a book store nerd to read this Phillpa Gregory series in order, so couldn't skip ahead in the series to the book on Elizabeth I.
Next meeting could be something to talk about! November 6 or 7 perhaps? Thoughts?

I'm Stuck
I have a mental block. I can not read A Wild Ride Up the Cupboards!!! I find I can read about a paragraph at a time. I think it's because I'm dying to run out and buy another Phillipa Gregory novel, this time about Queen Elizabeth I. The bastard child of Henry IV and Anne Boleyn.
Is it just my fascination with Tudor England, or is it Mommy Tale Fatigue?
Thoughts?

I have been wrapped up in 15th Century London this month ala Katherine of Aragon, in The Constant Princess so I have not yet started A Wild Ride up the Cupboards. I have heard from two of you that it is pretty good. Thoughts?
Thank Goodness it's a long month!
It's freaking cold outside!

A New Year of Books!
Hello! Welcome to the best post of the year! Here you can reference our new Year of Books. We have a pretty amazing selection and I can't wait to get started! Click on the link to Chapters where you can read an excerpt and read reviews.
Thanks for coming over on Friday night for another fun meeting! We could easily call ourselves Wine Club I have so much left over.
I have to get started on Wild Ride but thanks to Shannon I won't get started as soon as I thought! I started The Constant Princess and LOVE it! Phillipa Gregory is hands down my favourite author. Good thing it's a long month.
