I missed the meeting on Friday. Tear. What are the details of next meeting? I'm over halfway through Water for Elephants and I am sad that I don't see more pages. I get the sense it'll be one of those books that is over too soon...but we shall see. Has every one started? Any one finished? Comment so I'm back in the loop!

I haven't started quite yet. Should have had it with me on my extra long train ride this morning. Probably would have finished it. Tentative book club meeting for this book was Feb 21, depending if Alana wanted to do an optional Thursday meet. Trying to schedule around hockey games and vacations... Optional Thursday works for me and I'd be more then willing to help if you wanted to make it more of a potluck, Alana???
Hey Ladies - I also missed last meeting...but next meeting is at my place... now i hear a lot of us will not be able to do the friday feb 22... therefore.. what about WEDNESDAY FEB 20??? Who's in?

The 20th is my Mom's 60th Birthday!!!! But I think I'll try to get her over to celebrate or out for dinner on the 16th so I should be in!!
BTW - finished Water for Elephants today - it made my favourites list! What a great story...
I absolutely love W F E. I can't decide which part I like more...the story of the circus or the parts where he's in the retirement home. Both have given me laugh out loud moments. 20th works for me too. :)
